Looze Cannon is turning a Michael Jackson filter into a freestyle setup. XXL reported Tuesday that the Detroit entertainer recently passed one million TikTok followers and marked the milestone by trading bars between his own persona and his MJ character over Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones Pt. II.”

The MJ character is the setup; the bars are the payoff

The comedy is the entry point, but the rap is what gives the bit another gear. XXL says Cannon’s freestyles have drawn attention from Cordae and Timbaland; Cordae also gave him a public co-sign on X. The report describes Cannon switching between his regular look and the Michael Jackson filter while he raps.

Cannon’s YouTube channel posted “Official Looze Cannon (TikTok MJ Parody Live) Ep.1” on October 27. The linked upload gives readers another look at the character-led performance. Its thumbnail is episode artwork, not a frame of the Mobb Deep freestyle itself.

The switch between personas lets Cannon use the viral character to pull viewers in, then make room for his own delivery over a classic beat. That is a more durable lane than a single impersonation gag: the audience can follow the joke and still hear the rapper underneath it.
