The Latin Recording Academy announced 12 more performers for the 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards: Cristian Castro, Camila Fernández, Feid, Luis Figueroa, Fonseca, Grupo Frontera, Milo J, Niña Pastori, Reik, Sofía Reyes, Yami Safdie and The Warning. They join the first announced group for the November 12 ceremony in Las Vegas.

A second wave adds a tribute to the November show

The new announcement also sets up a tribute to Mexican singer-songwriter José Alfredo Jiménez, marking 100 years since his birth. The Academy named Edgar Barrera as the tribute’s musical producer; it has not identified which artists will perform the songs.

Univision’s three-hour telecast is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with a one-hour pre-show starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT. The MGM Grand Garden Arena hosts the ceremony on November 12. The new performer list stretches from regional Mexican and pop to urban music and rock, while the Jiménez segment gives the show a direct line to ranchera’s songbook.
