Complex reports that a verse on “Helpless,” from Cordae and Anderson .Paak’s 11-track Heavy Is the Crown, appears to suggest Cordae is expecting a second child. The album arrived October 23, according to Apple Music.
A lyric invites a reading; it does not establish who the song is about.
The song does not identify the other parent, Complex notes. The outlet places the verse in the context of Cordae’s past relationship with Naomi Osaka, but that context is not evidence that Osaka is involved. This is Complex’s reading of a lyric, not a confirmed family announcement.
