Wretch 32’s 2015 Fire in the Booth reaches the singles chart
A September release and new official video bring the older freestyle back into circulation.
Wretch 32’s 2015 “Fire In The Booth” recording returned as an official single in September. His artist channel published a new video September 11, the same date Apple Music lists for the release. It subsequently reached No. 84 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
An old recording with a new release
The earlier performance comes from Charlie Sloth’s former Radio 1Xtra segment, where invited artists freestyled over familiar beats. Official Charts’ September 15 report dates Wretch’s recording to 2015 and describes the fresh release and accompanying video.
The single’s chart page lists separate peaks of No. 15 on the Official Singles Sales Chart and No. 14 on the downloads chart, under the label Robots & Humans. Those rankings sit alongside its main singles-chart entry.
Before that entry, it appeared at No. 13 on the September 15 Official Trending Chart. That list uses the first four sales days of a chart week to measure week-on-week growth. September brought an older freestyle a single release, an artist-channel video and several chart appearances, more than a decade after the original recording.
