Rio Da Yung OG takes Lunch Break ahead of The World Is Yours
His Chicago session preceded a 22-track album featuring Lil Yachty, Tierra Whack and Veeze.
Rio Da Yung OG’s Lunch Break freestyle arrived eight days before The World Is Yours. Lyrical Lemonade TV uploaded the session September 3; its blog followed September 4. Lotto hosts the Chicago-filmed appearance, giving the Michigan rapper a solo stop before his September 11 album.
A solo stop before the guest-heavy album
The World Is Yours contains 22 tracks across 59 minutes, released through M I N E Entertainment and EMPIRE. Lil Yachty and Tierra Whack join “Crooked Elbow,” Veeze appears on “Superstar,” and YN Jay is featured on “New York Minute,” according to Apple Music’s album notes.
Those notes place the release after Rio’s 2025 projects F.L.I.N.T. and Olympic Shit Talking with Bfb Da Packman. They describe his writing as unfiltered and point to homegrown production across the album.
Lunch Break puts Rio in front of Lotto’s cameras in Chicago while the later record surrounds him with a larger guest list. Diamond Visuals handles the session’s photography, Collin Sincaglia edits and Jaymeworld mixes and masters. The official freestyle opens a September stretch that continues with nearly an hour of new music.
