M Huncho brings The Wizard’s “COWARDLY LION” to COLORS
The July session sits inside an album built around The Wizard of Oz.
M Huncho chose “COWARDLY LION” from THE WIZARD for his July 24 COLORS session. The North West London artist’s album had arrived June 19, built around The Wizard of Oz. The performance brings one of its named characters into the studio.

Apple Music lists 15 songs across 38 minutes on the original album, released by MYB Entertainment under license to 10K Projects. Its notes connect the concept to earlier projects including U2OPIA and his Potter Payper collaboration 36 Hours, each with its own organizing idea.
The notes discuss “WIZARD OF OZ” and “WE UP” in relation to pain, loyalty and the experiences behind Huncho’s writing. “COWARDLY LION” takes another title from the same storybook world, sitting within that album framework.
COLORS later advertised Huncho at its September 12 London event with Metropolis Music, alongside Bawo and JayaHadADream. The July recording catches him between the June album and that autumn live billing, performing one song from a project whose concept runs through its titles as well as its release notes.
