Wisin’s upcoming projects will be released through his own La Base Music Group under a new agreement with Sony Music Latin, according to Nevarez Communications’ November 3 announcement. Sony will provide global marketing and distribution, while Wisin keeps creative direction.
The agreement arrives as La Universidad del Perreo adds a New York show to its Puerto Rico run.
The deal arrives as La Universidad del Perreo grows beyond its 12-track album into courses and events. The project’s tour is scheduled to open with two shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan on November 13 and 14.
A one-night New York performance at United Palace is set for December 3. Nevarez describes it as the project’s only show outside Puerto Rico in 2026; Ticketmaster lists an 8 p.m. start, an artist presale on November 4 at 10 a.m. Eastern, and general sale on November 5 at 10 a.m. Eastern.
