Kid Rock says AI made the choir on Eminem collab “Heal My Faith”
He said his backing singers weren’t available; Bill Maher challenged what that choice meant for working vocalists.

Kid Rock said he used AI prompts to make the gospel-style choir on “Heal My Faith,” his song with Eminem. In a November 2 Complex report about his appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, Rock said his regular backing singers weren’t available when he finished the track and he chose not to wait.
Rock said the AI choice applied to this song’s choir
He described a different process for “7 Sins,” his Halfway 2 Jesus track with Lil Wayne: Rock said two female singers and one male singer recorded parts that he layered into a choir. On “Heal My Faith,” he said, he sang and harmonized before prompting AI for the Southern gospel sound. The disclosure is specific to one song’s choir, not every vocal on the album.
Maher argued that generating the choir meant working singers missed a paid opportunity. Rock compared the technology with drum machines, acknowledged AI’s risks and called for regulation. Complex’s report does not identify which AI system he used.
