Live Nation says The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour closed with a final gross above $1.3 billion. Its November 5 finale took place at Kuala Lumpur’s TM Stadium Nasional after 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents.
The four-year stadium run closed in Kuala Lumpur after touring five continents.
That is the highest-grossing tour by a solo male artist, surpassing Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road run, which grossed more than $939 million. Complex reports that the tour ranks third overall, behind Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres.
The total is ticket gross, not The Weeknd’s personal earnings. Live Nation also says the tour raised $8.5 million for the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen. The run began in Philadelphia in July 2022.
