Complex reported on October 29 that Malone had posted a new-song snippet to Instagram a day earlier. The outlet characterizes its melodic hip-hop, R&B and trap production as a return toward the sound associated with Stoney and Beerbongs & Bentleys, after the pop lane of Austin and country framing of F-1 Trillion.

The hashtag is a clue, not a confirmed title

The post caption reads “Eternal Buzz coming soon” and includes #BadMood. Complex floated “Bad Mood” as a possible track title but still described the song as untitled; the teaser does not give a single release date.

Complex places the preview on The Eternal Buzz, Malone’s next album, and recounts his earlier description of a two-disc, 40-song project. No album release date has been announced. For now, “coming soon” is promotion, not a release schedule.
