Mattmac’s Smoke Signals comes with a braille CD edition
QuestionATL hosts the project and shares production credits with Mattmac and Lil Miva.
Mattmac released Smoke Signals on September 11, with a limited mixtape-version CD featuring embossed braille listed on his Bandcamp page. QuestionATL hosts the project and joins him on “I Remember When,” which has an official video above.
A collaboration beyond the guest verse
Mattmac is credited as executive producer. QuestionATL, Mattmac and Lil Miva share mixing and production credits across the songs, with Jon Tornblom handling mastering. A digital download is also available on the artist’s Bandcamp page.
APTN identified the release as Mattmac’s third studio album when he and QuestionATL visited for a performance and conversation. Mattmac is from Garden Hill Anisininew Nation in Manitoba; the collaboration connects him with QuestionATL from the U.S.-based Blind and Famous Collective.
