The Latin Recording Academy added 14 performers to the November 12 telecast: Baby Ranks, Bad Gyal, Bizarrap, Miguel Colón, Divino, DJ Premier, Diljit Dosanjh, Grupo Niche, Jay Wheeler, KAROL G, Lil Supa, Luis Enrique, Nathy Peluso and Ángel “Cucco” Peña. They join the artists announced earlier for the ceremony at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. This is the main show’s lineup, separate from the Latin GRAMMY Premiere ceremony announced November 4.

The update also sets a special tribute to the late Willie Colón. Ennio Gatti, who worked alongside the Nuyorican trombonist and bandleader as musical director, will bring together Colón’s original 13-member band. The Academy describes Colón as a salsa pioneer and a 2004 Latin Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, giving the segment a direct connection to the genre’s history.

Several of the new names arrive with nominations in the Academy’s urban categories. Bad Gyal is nominated for Best Urban Music Album for Más Cara and Best Reggaeton Performance for “Choque.” Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66” is up for Best Urban Performance and Best Urban Song, while Lil Supa is nominated as a songwriter for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song for “Poder.” KAROL G is also among the added performers, with nominations across the year’s major and urban categories.

The Academy says the three-hour telecast begins November 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión and ViX; a one-hour pre-show starts at 7 p.m. ET/PT. The separate Premiere, where most categories are awarded, comes first.
