Chance the Rapper’s nonprofit SocialWorks opened its ninth annual Warmest Winter clothing drive, with donation boxes at 11 Chicago locations from November 2 through January 10, 2027. The organization says the drive supports people and families experiencing homelessness.
Food and canned goods are excluded, and SocialWorks says holiday hours may change.
The list includes new or gently used coats, jackets, scarves, gloves, hats, blankets, socks and toys; hygiene essentials must be new. Diapers, baby clothes and other baby items are welcome. Food and canned goods are not accepted.
SocialWorks’ announcement includes a map of the collection sites and warns that building access and holiday hours can change. Donors should check the location details before making a drop-off.
