YG Entertainment released TREASURE’s one-track digital single “SHOCK” on November 2. The label describes the song as electronic hip-hop. Apple Music U.S. catalogs the track under K-pop, while Melon places it in Rap/Hip-Hop.

The one-track release carries a label-history link without billing 1TYM as a featured act.

The label’s official credits make one specific connection: “SHOCK” contains an interpolation of 1TYM’s “Hot.” YG lists composers YG, P.K., 2K, EAST, Ned Houston and Hadar Adora, with BIGTONE, EAST, Ned Houston, KOREANGROOVE and Hadar Adora credited for lyrics. The track list names “SHOCK” as the single’s only song; 1TYM is referenced through the interpolation credit, not billed as a featured act.

That is a concrete bridge between TREASURE’s current release and another act in YG’s catalog, carried in the song’s credits rather than a guest billing. The two storefronts also show how the same track can sit in different genre shelves: K-pop on Apple Music U.S. and Rap/Hip-Hop on Melon.
