A$AP Rocky has announced a four-year, full-tuition scholarship for one incoming student at Long Island University’s Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment in Brooklyn. LIU announced the award on October 6, with the recipient set to start in fall 2027.

One scholarship, four years of tuition

Applications are open to first-time freshmen seeking enrollment at the school. The announcement specifies tuition coverage; it doesn’t say the award also pays for housing, meals or other living expenses.

“I’m a big believer in creating your own lane and giving people the opportunity to do the same,” Rocky said in LIU’s announcement.

The school’s current degree listings include music technology, entrepreneurship and production, vocal performance, sports management, and sports communication and marketing. That puts studio work and the business around music and sports under the same roof.

Rocky joins DJ Khaled, Megan Thee Stallion, LaMelo Ball and Young Guru among the figures who have established scholarships at the school. Guru also directs its music technology, entrepreneurship and production program.

Prospective students can find submission details through LIU’s dedicated application page. Applications close December 15, 2026.
