Spotify introduced SongDNA in March 2026 to connect supported tracks with their writers, producers, samples, interpolations and covers. The company announced the beta for Premium listeners on iOS and Android, with the feature built into the Now Playing view.
Follow the credits
On a supported song, listeners can scroll to the SongDNA card and open its credits and connections. Tap a writer or producer to find other artists they’ve worked with.
Spotify said the connections combine information supplied by artists and their teams with community-sourced data. Eligible artist and label teams can review and manage entries through Spotify for Artists. The March announcement described a rollout continuing through April.
