Akademiks says Future–Travis footage came from another party
XXL reports he corrected his initial account: the preview with Loe Shimmy was at a separate New York gathering, while attendance at Drake’s birthday remains unclear.

Footage of Future, Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy previewing music was not filmed at Drake’s October 24 birthday party, XXL reported October 27. The outlet says DJ Akademiks corrected his initial account during an October 26 livestream and identified the video as coming from a different New York gathering.
The clip’s context, corrected
Akademiks said that other event was hosted by Future at Chelsea Studios. He described people moving from outside Drake’s celebration to the separate party, but his account did not settle who attended or entered either event.
XXL’s recap leaves Future’s attendance uncertain and says Akademiks thought Travis Scott may have appeared at the door. The correction establishes where the preview clip came from; it does not confirm that either artist joined Drake’s party.
