Yung Miami left the door open to making music with JT again, but stopped short of announcing a City Girls reunion. In Complex’s October 17 report on her Pandora Playback conversation with FlyGuyDC, Miami answered “Inshallah” when asked about recording together. The word signals hope; the report gives no session, shared release or next step.

A hopeful answer, not a reunion announcement

Miami also said she believed she and JT had last spoken around JT’s birthday roughly two years ago. That is her recollection, not a confirmed timeline for a reconciliation. Complex says she looked back on “Act Up,” the duo’s 2019 breakout, while discussing the possibility of working together again.

For listeners trying to separate a viral clip from an actual roll-out, the distinction matters: no reunion date or joint project was announced. Miami’s solo album Watch Dis is scheduled for October 23, according to the existing release report, but Complex does not connect that project to JT. For now, the comeback is a possibility Miami voiced—not a plan either artist has put on the calendar.
