Spotify reported 306 million Premium subscribers in Q3 2026, up 9% year over year, and 788 million monthly active users, up 11%. Revenue rose 16% to €5 billion, according to the company’s earnings release.
The platform is widening its business beyond paid music listening
The update also points toward more creator-facing tools. Spotify says its Partner Program is expanding to more than 35 new markets this fall, including Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Italy and Spain. Creator Memberships are rolling out in 34 markets, where eligible creators can offer fans exclusive content and experiences.
That makes membership a direct-to-fan experiment inside the same service people already use for music and podcasts. The announcement describes the offer and rollout, but does not spell out how many music creators will qualify or how much audiences will pay.
Spotify also says it plans to expand audiobook access from 22 markets to more than 180 by the end of 2026. The quarter’s numbers capture the scale of its audience; the product changes show how the company wants that audience to spend more time across different forms of entertainment.
