Jay-Z closed the Los Angeles leg of his JAŸ-Z30 celebration on Saturday, October 24, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The venue’s event listing confirms the date, and the artist’s newsroom describes it as the sold-out second and final night of the two-show run. Complex’s next-day recap framed the closer as a salute to West Coast rap.

The finale brought three California voices onto the stage

Too $hort came out for “Blow the Whistle,” then Snoop Dogg joined Jay-Z for “Murder Was the Case.” Dr. Dre joined Snoop for a run of familiar records: “The Next Episode,” “California Love,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.” The guest sequence turned the set into a compact West Coast showcase inside Jay-Z’s catalog.

Jay-Z also folded in a tribute to Nipsey Hussle, a Los Angeles rapper whose music stayed close to the city’s story. “Hussle & Motivate” was worked into “Hard Knock Life,” while the instrumental from “Last Time I Checc’d” surfaced during “On to the Next One,” according to the official recap and Complex.

The finale followed Friday’s opening night, which brought Blue Ivy Carter, Scarface, DJ Khaled and John Legend into the show. The October 23 and 24 dates closed the Los Angeles leg of a JAŸ-Z30 celebration marking 30 years since Reasonable Doubt, with the second night leaning into the region’s rap lineage.
