Digital Nas apologized to Ye on October 16, writing on X that Ye had paid him “a substantial amount” for his contributions and that he had been ungrateful, Complex reported. In a separate Instagram Story, Nas said he had learned to keep private matters private.

A public reversal, with details still private

The apology follows Nas’s October 3 posts alleging that he had received no royalties or publishing for work connected to Donda, Donda 2 and the Vultures projects. Complex covered those earlier claims and reported that Nas later regretted taking the dispute public.

The new statement does not identify a dollar amount or explain any contract or publishing terms. Complex said Ye had not responded by publication; Nas also told a fan he did not know whether they would work together again.
