Pulse Nigeria reports that Burna Boy and Davido shook hands inside a Lagos club on Thursday, October 22, at Zlatan Ibile’s bachelor party. The greeting came ahead of Zlatan’s wedding to Davita Lamai two days later.
The reports confirm a greeting, not a truce
The brief exchange stands out because the singers’ public relationship has been tense for years. Neither performer had commented on the meeting in Pulse’s report or AllHipHop’s October 24 follow-up; AllHipHop credits Pulse for the footage.
A handshake does not establish that the friction is over, and Pulse says reports of a private upstairs conversation remain unconfirmed. Zlatan has released music with both: Davido appeared on “Osanle” in 2018, and Burna Boy joined him on “Killin Dem” in 2019.
