Shakira and Maluma are back together on “AGUA.” Sony Music describes the duet as merengue-inspired, with the title’s water imagery playing against lyrics about the heat between them. It follows collaborations including “Chantaje,” “Trap” and “Clandestino.”

Water in the title, heat in the premise

Hannah Lux Davis directed the accompanying video. The label’s account points to water, reflective surfaces, light and dance as the pieces of its visual world. The official video is linked above, with the two Colombian artists sharing the frame.

The single is out now. Apple Music’s U.S. catalog dates it September 17; Sony’s Japanese announcement gives September 18 and says the video arrived alongside the song. Both listings describe an available release.
