NSQK says it’s unfair to call him independent as mosca lands

NSQK released his third album, mosca, on October 15. Apple Music lists 17 tracks and a 61-minute runtime, crediting Honey under an exclusive license to Worldwide Records.
The label credit has limits
The following day, the Monterrey-born artist told EL PAÍS México that Honey isn’t a major label, but that calling himself independent would be unfair to people who work truly independently. He also described a full team working toward one goal.
That distinction sits beside a concrete release credit, not a full account of who financed or services the album. Apple Music identifies Honey as the ℗ holder and Worldwide Records as exclusive licensee; it doesn’t spell out every part of the operation NSQK described.
The guest list moves across scenes: Jean Dawson, Eslabón Armado, Kevin Kaarl and Julieta Venegas. Apple Music’s album notes describe a rock-oriented shift that keeps some alternative hip-hop in the mix. EL PAÍS reports that NSQK and Venegas finished their song in about two hours after their schedules crossed in New York.
The next scale marker is live. OCESA lists NSQK for Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on January 23, 2027. EL PAÍS reports that he had already sold out shows at Pepsi Center and Palacio de los Deportes, and that the stadium’s scale is still difficult for him to picture.
