The Kid LAROI’s first collaboration with GIVĒON has a longer history than its September release suggests. “GET EVEN” began on an album LAROI made before BEFORE I FORGET and later scrapped. When he revisited the material, he decided this song and the earlier single “SLEEP” should still come out.

A song that survived an abandoned project

“GET EVEN” arrived September 18 with a video directed by Ayodeji. It’s their second visual collaboration in a matter of weeks, following “SLEEP” at the end of August. Ayodeji also edited the video, with Jacob ‘Kuba’ Bojsza handling cinematography and PAAR producing it.

The song reaches listeners ahead of the UK and European dates of LAROI’s A PERFECT WORLD tour. That run is scheduled to begin October 27 in Birmingham and finish November 17 in Prague, with nate sib supporting.

Manchester, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich, Milan, Berlin and Copenhagen are also on the announced itinerary. Before those shows, the recovered GIVĒON collaboration gives another song from the abandoned project a finished release and visual.
