J Balvin and Ryan Castro built OMERTA around a film world
The Colombian duo’s ten-track project pairs guest collaborations with a cinematic rollout.
J Balvin and Ryan Castro’s OMERTA brings their partnership into a full joint album. Apple Music lists ten songs, including “GWA” with Eladio Carrión. Its album listing is dated May 8, 2026.
One project, a shared visual world
The visual concept was part of the project before that release. In an April 10 announcement on his own website, Balvin described an intro featuring Sofía Vergara, Marlon Moreno, Eladio Carrión and Valentina Ferrer, seated together around themes of loyalty and family.
He also named Scarface, The Godfather and Michael Jackson’s music videos among the references behind the rollout. “Tonto,” “Pal Agua” and “Una A La Vez” were built into that shared visual world. The official “Una A La Vez” video is available above.
