GTA 6’s first official radio previews are here, and the music can travel further than the car. Rockstar’s October 8 announcement introduces six stations across rap, Latin music, African sounds, pop, country and metal. It also confirms that Jason and Lucia can listen to radio and on-demand podcasts while walking, using headphones or earbuds connected to their smartphones.
Six stations, and a new way to take them with you
For rap listeners, Dirty South Classics is the immediate draw. Trick and Trina host a station built around regional rap and Southern hip-hop classics. Rockstar’s description gives it a clear local role: music that represents Leonida and the South.
Cocoteo FM covers modern Latin music with El Martillo and La Gata. The announced programming stretches across bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. AfroBank FM, hosted by Burna and Palmsy, reaches from older African recordings to contemporary amapiano and 3-step.
Flash FM returns as a Vice City pop station, with Robyn and Alex handling the broadcasts. Country listeners get Back Country Radio with MW and Delta Dawne, plus an airboat-based roving reporter called Mud Dog Mike. The Chamber 106.6 brings metal from across the decades, presented by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom.
The listening change matters beyond those genre choices. Radio and podcasts will work both in vehicles and on foot, and the podcasts are available on demand. That gives the game’s audio another place in Jason and Lucia’s day, rather than making every listening session depend on getting behind the wheel.
These six station previews are a first selection. Rockstar describes a wider radio offering that also includes formats such as classic rock, modern hip-hop, blues, ballads and talk radio. It hasn’t presented today’s preview set as the entire station roster or a complete song list.
The radio reveal also sits alongside the separate GTA VI: The Album. That release has 34 original tracks and is due November 19; six debut singles are already available. The official music page lets you switch between the station previews and those songs, with more album singles and details on the dynamic score still to come.
GTA VI remains scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. For now, Rockstar’s music page offers a first listen to each of the six stations before the game arrives.
