Drake went Iron Man, then Hot Topic, in FOMO
Loe Shimmy gets a superhero suit, Pinkchyu picks the outfit, and Drake’s mum gets her own cameo.
Drake’s FOMO premiered on September 15, and some of its most memorable detours have very little to do with a conventional album rollout. There’s a fairground superhero scene with Loe Shimmy, a Hot Topic shopping trip with content creator Pinkchyu, and a cameo from Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham.
The costume budget gets a workout
Capital XTRA’s September 21 rundown identifies the superhero sequence as the video for “I’m Spent,” with Drake and Loe Shimmy wearing Iron Man and War Machine suits. In the film, an accountant’s voice recording questions the $150,000 spent on the pair of costumes. Two suits, one very expensive side quest.
