“Solar Eclipse,” Don Toliver’s collaboration with Drake, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated October 17, according to Complex’s October 12 report, which says Billboard confirmed the placement. Complex calls it Toliver’s career-best Hot 100 debut and counts it as Drake’s 91st top-10 entry.
A top-five start for the collaboration
The chart date is later than the report date: Complex published its update on Monday, while the ranking is for the chart dated October 17. For Toliver, the No. 5 opening sets a new personal high for a debut. For Drake, it adds another top 10 to a total that already spans 91 entries, as reported by Complex.
Apple Music lists “Solar Eclipse” on Toliver’s October 2 release HABIBTI (FOMO) and has an official music-video page for the collaboration. That gives the chart result a clear release context: the song is already out, and its first reported Hot 100 position is inside the top five.
