The optional switch, planned globally before year’s end, will hide tracks, albums and related artists the service flags as fully AI-generated.

Deezer says an optional toggle will roll out globally before the end of 2026. When it is on, search results will exclude tracks and albums the service identifies as fully AI-generated, along with the artists associated with them. Listeners can turn the filter off again; the announcement gives no exact launch date.

A listener-controlled search setting

The company says the feature targets music made entirely with generative systems, not work that uses limited AI assistance. Deezer reports that its detector kept more than 42 million fully AI-generated tracks out of algorithmic and editorial recommendations between January 2025 and August 2026, and that it tagged more than 14 million albums. Those are company figures; the new setting extends its stated policy to search results.
