Cardi B swaps Latto reference for Kelly Rowland at Tiny Desk
Her eight-song NPR set opens with “Hello” and closes with “I Like It.”
Cardi B’s Tiny Desk debut includes a lyric change: XXL reports that the version of “ErrTime” on the set replaces its Latto reference with a Kelly Rowland name-check. The report does not give a reason for the edit, so the performance itself is the confirmed update.
A lyric switch inside the eight-song set
The eight-song run opens with “Hello” and closes with “I Like It.” Between them are “ErrTime,” “Man of Your Word,” “Be Careful,” “Up,” “AH HA” and “Bodak Yellow.” XXL connects four of the selections to her 2025 album “Am I the Drama?” and three to 2018’s “Invasion of Privacy.” Adam Blackstone leads the band as musical director and plays bass and keys, Complex reports.
XXL places the switch in the context of the pair’s public history: Cardi apologized after leaked audio of disparaging remarks about Latto circulated in 2025, and the outlet says Latto later appeared to revisit the conflict on “Gimmie Dat,” from her 2026 album “Big Mama.”
