Boosie took “Set It Off” to a White House sidewalk
The Oct. 9 performance followed his Capital One Arena date; reports leave the motive for the stop open.
Boosie Badazz performed his 2006 track “Set It Off” on the public sidewalk outside the White House on Oct. 9, according to Complex and AllHipHop. The song’s title picked up an unusually literal backdrop, while both reports leave his reason for choosing the spot unconfirmed.
A D.C. two-night detour
AllHipHop identifies The DMV Live as the source of video from the scene. It says the sidewalk appearance followed the previous night’s Cash Money and No Limit Tour stop at Capital One Arena. Complex also places Boosie’s performance in the wake of that Washington concert.
The sequence is clear: an arena date, then a sidewalk performance of a catalog track. The location is striking; the motive remains open in the reporting.
