Anacron's five-track murtaugh. EP went on sale October 12, with the complete digital album available through Bandcamp for $10 or more. The artist's page says the release will stay off other streaming platforms; Bandcamp offers in-app streaming and high-quality downloads.
A focused release with a narrow listening route
The vinyl edition is a 10-inch, 45-rpm pressing limited to 500 copies worldwide. Bandcamp listed it at $45 when checked, and says orders placed after release ship within three weeks.
The production is split track by track: Aocoa made ‘clicc clacc,’ KvnAndre produced ‘a r m,’ Demancey handled ‘antisocial,’ Diles made the title track, and Ambush Exclusive produced ‘xennial.’ Anacron is credited with writing and performing all five songs.
The release notes describe murtaugh. as Anacron's first original all-rap project in almost twenty years. They frame the five-song set as a return to the rap foundation his audience had been asking for.
