2 Chainz apologized on November 3 for how he argued that celebrities can receive special treatment at restaurants. Complex reports that, after the November 1 Den of Kings episode with Keith Lee drew criticism, the two spoke after filming and the rapper acknowledged that he could have made his point more clearly.

The apology follows a correction: Lee had not reviewed 2 Chainz’s Esco Restaurant.

The episode also began from a mistaken premise: 2 Chainz challenged Lee about a negative review of Esco Restaurant & Tapas that Lee had never published. Complex says he may have been referring to food creator Mr. ChimeTime’s review instead.

Lee said he wants his reviews to reflect the experience an ordinary customer might have; 2 Chainz defended the perks entertainers receive. The apology adds an off-camera follow-up to the conversation, while the disagreement over what a restaurant review should represent remains.
